Hey! I think this is really interesting and thought that I'd share. Our friends just had a baby boy yesterday. Not only is he a scorpio but he happened to be born on the same day as the lunar eclipse. If I had the exact time I would like to see what the chart is like but alas that info was not shared with me. Another cooky thing is that the Red Sox won the world series! What a day to be born on!

About this Entry
Current Mood: nostalgic
HELP! I had the weirdest dream of all time and it is creeping me out! I've looked up aspects of my dream and all seem to be a bad sign. Ok, here it goes:

It was like an old time horror flick. Everything was black and white with shades of gray. I was running through a house that I've never seen before, down the hallway, and I am being chased by my dead mother! She is decaying around her face much like the movie "The Mummy" after he has eaten 3 out of the 4 people. I can see through her check to the bone and her teeth are perfect like a skeleton in a science class. Her hands are boney and bent. The fingers are long but the nails are short and she was trying to grab me. Trying to get away and hide in a closet or under the bed she tells me, "You can't hide and you will not get away!" I run out from under the bed and she grabs me by my shoulders, spins me around and when I try to hit her away she grabs my arms and holds them by the wrists. She was incredibly strong for a dead person.

After that Sam came home and woke me up. Thank you God! I don't know if I could have lastest much longer in that dream.

Call it the Big Chill, Texas-style.

Thanks largely to heavy rains in June and late July, summer 2004 continues to be blissfully mild.

The Metroplex's official high temperature Wednesday was 89, 7 degrees below the normal high of 96 for Aug. 11. And a cold front moving through North Texas should keep the temperature from breaking 90 again until Sunday.

Overall, average temperatures in June and July were about 1.5 degrees below the norm, said Steve Fano of the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

This summer's lows have stayed near the average, Fano said, but the highs have been below normal. On July 25, for example, the high was 80, about 15 degrees below normal.

August could bring back its sizzle if we don't get more rain, Fano said, which doesn't seem too likely.

"If we don't get it, we'll probably see temperatures in the upper 90s to 100 later this month, which is normal," he said.

Monday and I thought this might be a good way for me to keep in touch w/ some peeps since I am so far away. Not too certain on how much time I will have to enter and reply, perhaps in time it will become second nature. Looking forward to being informed and updated on the lives of my friends and my family.

PS. To my soon to be here sisters:  Sorry about the purple pen marks on the couch, Harley went a little crazy the other day.
